Every home has its forgotten corners — the cupboard you rummage through by phone-torch, the hallway you cross in the dark, the top of the stairs where you reach for a switch that's never quite where you remember. We spent years living around those small frustrations, assuming that was just how homes worked.

Then we asked a simple question: why should you have to find the light? Why can't the light find you?

That question became Aelo.

To us, the name stands for something gentle — not the harsh flick of a switch, but a glow that arrives quietly, exactly when you need it and never when you don't. It's the feeling of walking into a room and having it welcome you. Of never fumbling in the dark again. Of a home that simply works around your life instead of the other way round.

So we set out to build lighting that lives up to that idea: wireless, so there are no cords to hide. Rechargeable, so there's nothing to wire in and nothing to throw away. Magnetic, so anyone can fit it in seconds. And smart enough to sense you coming, light your way, and switch itself off when you've gone.

No electricians. No tools. No dark corners. Just light, where you need it, the moment you need it.
